COVID Lawsuit

MINNEAPOLIS – A man from Minneapolis just won a multi-million dollar lawsuit against his employer after intentionally contracting COVID-19.  A court ruled trial favored for the man netting him $1.7 million dollars.

“I intentionally contracted COVID-19 at my work,” Sam Burns, 29 stated.  “I felt like contracting COVID-19 at work was my best shot at becoming financially independent.”

Sam stated that everyday at work he would lick the palms of his hands after at shift.  “I didn’t wash my hands for a month,” Sam said laughing.  “It sounds gross but I knew it was going to be worth it.”

When Sam contracted COVID-19 he said it felt like Christmas day.  “I was never so excited to get sick.  When I got COVID I knew I won the jackpot.”

After contracting COVID Sam filed a lawsuit against his former employer for $3 million.  The employer settled today for $1.7 million.

“My life is completely changed now,” Sam said. “I now have the financial freedom to do whatever I want.  And all I had to do was catch a cold.”

Sam is now writing a book titled, “How to Catch Cornavirus and Sue your Employer for Millions”.

The local family business Sam worked at has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
