NVIDIA made a surprise announcement this morning of a new graphics card called the “GTX 4080” that is even more powerful than the mystical 3080 they recently released. However many were disappointed to find out that this won’t be available to the general public and will be sold exclusively to mining companies.
The GTX 4080 has a whopping $3900 retail price per card, but is expected to bring new speeds to crypto miners that hasn’t been seen before. The demand for Dogecoin could be a leading reason for this development.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang had this to say in a statement via Twitter, “While gamers were NVIDIA’s original target market, and will always be the heart of NVIDIA we are moving past that and looking to expand our reach with our graphic cards whether that’s in electric vehicles, crypto mining, or idiots on WallStreetBets.”
In other news, Peter Schiff was seen crying in a puddle of 3 inch deep tears when he realized gold has not moved at all for the past 90 years. Schiff, a long-term gold bull and crypto bear is said to be working at a local Wendy’s to pay hill margin call on shorting bitcoin.
