Rumors are swirling that famed billionaire, Richard Branson used a stunt double to test the Virgin Galactic rocket yesterday.
“Do you think I would really risk my life aboard what is essentially a missile with first-class seats?” he said after his double was spotted in a blue jump suit back stage of the post landing celebration and concert event featuring Khalid and Steven Colbert.
“I’m not risking this beautiful body on a test flight, that sort of thing is for the poors and besides this was all a publicity stunt to drive up $SPCE stock, that’s where the money’s getting made on this thing,” he continued.
Virgin Galactic fell more than 14% after it filed notice of its stock sale offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Trading was briefly halted Monday morning due to volatility.
