McGraw-Hill Education

McGraw-Hill Education will be updating history text books for kids in the 6th – 8th grade after a survey conducted amongst American middle schoolers showed that kids showed far more interest in communist revolutionaries than US politicians.

McGraw CEO Simon Allen had this to say, “As a business it is important for us to identify trends and recently, communist revolutionaries have been some of the most studied academics on TikTok amongst kids. Our internal data shows that by including the history of these leaders, and why they really weren’t that bad, can increase engagement.” Allen said. “We plan to get rid of the history of US Presidents and instead teach kids about the biggest communist revolutionaries and theorists, our short list includes, Mao, Marx, Guvera, Castro, Stalin, Lenin etc.”
